(UPDATE: The entire song has been released and can be heard HERE.)
Bruce Springsteen has shared, to social media, a 29-second preview of “Addicted to Romance,” a new song he has written for the movie “She Came to Me.” You can listen to it below.
It’s a world-weary love song, somewhat reminiscent of “Tougher Than the Rest.” In the song excerpt, Springsteen and Patti Scialfa sing:
Neon lights on the corner, the rumble of a tired rock ‘n’ roll band
You’re this neighborhood’s broken daughter, with all the blessings that it grants
I’ll tell you ’bout this dream I had, if you tell me of your plans
You’ve got me addicted to romance
“She Came to Me” is a romantic comedy co-starring Peter Dinklage, Marisa Tomei and Anne Hathaway. You can watch a trailer for it below.
The movie will be released on Oct. 6.
