Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa performed three songs — Springsteen’s “Glory Days” as well as covers of the rock standards “Money (That’s What I Want)” and “Twist and Shout” — Jan. 19 at “Victory in Versailles,” a gala benefit to support the United States equestrian teams at the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games. The event was held at Five Rings Farm in Wellington, Florida.
You can watch videos of “Money” and “Glory Days,” below.
Springsteen and Scialfa’s daughter Jessica is an equestrian who won a silver medal in Team Jumping at the last Summer Olympics, held in 2021 in Tokyo (it was postponed from 2020 due to the pandemic).
The 2024 Summer Olympics will be held in Paris in July and August, and the equestrian events will be held at the Gardens of the Palace of Versailles.
The sold-out benefit was presented by the United States Equestrian Team Foundation.
Springsteen and Scialfa also performed “Money” at a similar event held in 2016 in Wellington.
