Neil Young & Crazy Horse have announced a tour from late April to late May that will include shows at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion in Camden, May 12; and Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York, May 14. Pre-sales begin Feb. 13 at 1 p.m., with the general on-sale following at 10 a.m. Feb. 16; visit ticketmaster.com or foresthillsstadium.com.
A new live Neil Young & Crazy Horse album, titled Fu##in’ Up and recorded at concerts last year, will be released on April 26, after a vinyl-only Record Store Day limited release on April 20.
Young said in a statement: “In the spirit it’s offered … made this for the Horse lovers. I can’t stop it. The horse is runnin’. What a ride we have. I don’t want to mess with the vibe. I am so happy to have this to share.”
The current lineup of Crazy Horse features bassist Billy Talbot and drummer Ralph Molina. Guitarists Nils Lofgren and Micah Nelson have both played with the band recently, though Lofgren’s participation in the April and May dates would seem to be impossible or very limited, due to the scheduled touring by Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band.
Young has not yet announced the lineup for the tour.
