Renaissance Records has released a Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes concert album.
The Scottsdale, Arizona-based company Renaissance Records has begun releasing concert albums featuring shows that took place at the long-defunct (and now-demolished) Capitol Theatre in Passaic. In a May 7 Facebook post, it revealed the first nine releases in the series, said this is being done with the “cooperation” of Capitol Theatre owner and concert promoter John Scher, and said there are more to come.
The first nine in the series (listed chronologically) are:

New Riders of the Purple Sage (Oct. 31, 1975)
Renaissance (June 18, 1978)
Harry Chapin (Oct. 21, 1978)
Southside Johnny & the Asbury Jukes (Dec. 30, 1978)
Brothers Johnson (April 25, 1980)
Dave Edmunds (May 15, 1982)
John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers featuring John McVie, Colin Allen and Mick Taylor, with guests Albert King, Buddy Guy, Junior Wells, Etta James, Hubert Sumlin and Sippie Wallace (June 18, 1982)
The Charlie Daniels Band (Nov. 22, 1985)
Some releases appear to be vinyl-only, while some are available on vinyl and CD.
