“Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band” will be released in October.

Hulu and Disney+ will release a film directed by longtime Bruce Springsteen collaborator Thom Zimny, “Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band,” in October, with the exact date to be announced later.

According to a press release, the film will offer “the most in-depth look ever at the creation of their legendary live performances (and include) unprecedented, behind-the-scenes access to their 2023-2024 world tour.”

The press release also said the film will feature “fly-on-the-wall footage of band rehearsals and special moments backstage — as well as hearing from Springsteen himself. These conversations follow Springsteen closely as he develops the story he wants to tell with this tour’s setlist — interspersed with rare archival clips of The E Street Band, underscoring themes of life, loss, mortality and community.”

Zimny’s previous projects include Springsteen’s “Western Stars” and “Springsteen on Broadway” films.

Springsteen and the E Street Band are currently on tour in Europe with the next show scheduled for SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork, Ireland, May 16.
