Rock photographer Danny Clinch and his Transparent Clinch Gallery in Asbury Park have announced fundraising campaigns to benefit those impacted in Florida and North Carolina by Hurricanes Helene and Milton; and in California, by the recent wildfires.

The fundraiser for The Soulshine Fund, benefiting those in Florida and North Carolina, will feature prints of three photos Clinch took at Soulshine: A Benefit for Hurricane Relief and Recovery, which took place in Madison Square Garden on Nov. 24 with Warren Haynes and Dave Matthews co-hosting and performing, and other performers including Trey Anastasio, Nathaniel Rateliff, Goose, Derek Trucks & Susan Tedeschi, and Mavis Staples. The photos will include two backstage shots (one of Matthews and Haynes, the other of Matthews, Haynes and Trucks) as well as the onstage group shot, above.

“The importance of the evening was just as impactful backstage as it was in the audience,” said Clinch in a press release.

The Los Angeles fundraiser, meanwhile, will feature prints of the photo to the right.

Referring to the concert film “Where the Light Is: John Mayer Live in Los Angeles,” which he directed, Clinch said in the press release: “After I posted this image of John Mayer’s guitar and amplifier overlooking the Los Angeles skyline while we were filming ‘Where the Light Is,’ several people responded saying that they would purchase this image if I were to offer it as a fundraiser for the LA community. I shared these comments with John Mayer, and we decided to partner on a print sale to benefit CORE and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Pasadena to help generate as many funds as possible for those in need.”

The photo was taken in 2007. “Where the Light Is” came out the following year.

Copies of the photo signed by Mayer and Clinch are available, as well as non-signed copies.

The fundraisers will last through Jan. 25. Visit transparentclinchgallery.com.
