This list of major arts events scheduled for New Jersey will be constantly updated throughout the year, as new events are announced.
Jan. 16-25: The Light of Day Festival takes place in Asbury Park, Montclair and elsewhere, with the main concert scheduled for Jan. 18 at The Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank with John Rzeznik (of The Goo Goo Dolls), Brian Fallon (of The Gaslight Anthem, Willie Nile, Joe Grushecky and others.
May 16-18: The Exit Zero Jazz Festival takes place in Cape May. Lineup TBA.
May 30-31 and June 1: Crawfish Fest at Sussex County Fairgrounds, Augusta. With Marcia Ball, Terrance Simien & the Zydeco Experience, Southern Avenue, Bonerama, Rockin’ Dopsie & the Zydeco Twisters, Corey Harris, Carolyn Wonderland, others.
June 19-22: Barefoot Country Music Fest, Wildwood. With Jason Aldean, Jelly Roll, Rascal Flatts, Lainey Wilson, Boyz II Men, Jordan Davis, Megan Moroney, Colt Ford, others.
June 27-29: Rock, Ribs and Ridges Festival at Sussex County Fairgrounds, Augusta. Lineup TBA.
Aug. 9: My Chemical Romance will perform its 2006 album The Black Parade in its entirety, and more, at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, with Death Cab for Cutie and Thursday opening.
Aug. 31 and Sept. 1: Oasis‘ reunion tour will come to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, with Cage the Elephant opening.
Sept. 13: Morristown Jazz and Blues Festival. Lineup TBA.
