More than a thousand people performed Bruce Springsteen’s “No Surrender” together at a music festival in Bellpuig, Spain, in 2017.
A new cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “No Surrender” by Rowe inspired me to put together a collection of different versions of this anthem, which was on Springsteen’s 1984 Born in the USA album and has been performed at his concerts, frequently, since then. (It has shown up quite a bit on his current tour, for instance).
Here are the videos, starting with four different versions by Springsteen, then Rowe’s cover, and then the rest of them in no particular order — including one by a children’s choir in Iowa, and one by more than 1,000 people at the No Surrender Festival in Vilanova de Bellpuig, Spain, in 2017.
