TRACY MORGAN

Today — two days after Tracy Morgan proclaimed “I’m back” on “Saturday Night Live” (see below) — two New Jersey standup comedy shows by him have shown up on Ticketmaster.com. One, listed for April 16 at the State Theatre in New Brunswick, was later taken down. Another, for April 2 at BergenPAC in Englewood, is still there. On-sale dates for both shows were listed as this Friday.

Both shows are listed under the title “Tracy Morgan: Picking Up the Pieces,” indicating that Morgan is probably plotting a tour under that name. But the shows are not yet listed on the theater’s website, or Morgan’s web site, tracymorgan.net. Nor has there been any formal press release, as far as I can tell.

There are currently no other Morgan dates on Ticketmaster.com, though one showed up earlier today, for May in Vancouver, but later disappeared, like the New Brunswick show.

In June 7, 2014, Morgan was involved in a major car accident on the New Jersey Turnpike, and has spent most of his time since then convalescing at his Cresskill home.
