New Jersey Black Sabbath fans will have two last chances to see the pioneering heavy metal band in their home state next year, when Sabbath brings its farewell tour, The End, to the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden on Aug. 19 and the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on Aug. 23.
Rival Sons will open both shows. Appropriately enough, tickets will go on sale Halloween Day, at 10 a.m. Visit livenation.com.
Band co-founders Ozzy Osbourne, 66, Tony Iommi, 67, and Geezer Butler, 66, will be joined on the tour by drummer Tommy Clufetos, who also plays in Osbourne’s solo band. Original Sabbath drummer Bill Ward, who has feuded with Osbourne, will not be participating.
Other Northeast dates include Madison Square Garden, Feb. 25 and 27, and the Nikon at Jones Beach Theater on Aug. 17. For tour information and updates, visit blacksabbath.com.
