The Dixie Checks will embark on their first extensive U.S. tour since 2006 next summer, and there will be two New Jersey stops. The trio — Natalie Maines, Emily Robison and Martie Maguire — will bring its DCX MMXVI World Tour, which will also include shows in Europe and Canada, to the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel on June 8, and the BB&T Pavilion (formerly the Susquehanna Bank Center) in Camden on June 18.
Tickets go on sale Nov. 21 at 10 a.m. for Camden, Nov. 23 at 10 a.m. for Holmdel. Prices are $35 to $135.75 for Camden, $42 to $136 for Holmdel. There will also be various pre-sales beginning Nov. 17. Visit ticketmaster.com.
The U.S. portion of the tour begins June 1 in Cincinnati and will also include stops at Madison Square Garden in New York, June 13, and Hersheypark Stadium in Hershey, Pa., June 24.
The group has not released an album of new material since Taking the Long Way, in 2006.
