New blocks of tickets will be made available July 27 at 10 a.m. for Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band’s upcoming shows at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, Aug. 23, 25 and 30. So, in other words, if you were not able to get good tickets for one of these shows, it might be worth a shot.
“Production and stage updates” is the official explanation, meaning that once they nailed down details about how big the stage and other production elements were going to be, they realized they could fit more people in. Visit ticketmaster.com.
General admission (i.e., floor) tickets are also still available for the Aug. 30 show.
Springsteen performs today in Trondheim, Norway, and has two other European shows scheduled before he returns to the States for a 10-show tour that ends Sept. 14 at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass. After that, his attention will presumably turn to promoting his autobiography “Born to Run,” due to be released Sept. 27 (four days after his 67th birthday).
