Justin Bieber, who had three No. 1 singles with his late 2015 Purpose album (“What Do You Mean?,” “Sorry” and “Love Yourself”), is extending his Purpose World Tour into 2017. He’ll spend the first half of the year in Latin America, Australia, New Zealand and Europe, but will come back to North America during the summer for some stadium shows, including one at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, Aug. 23.
Tickets go on sale Dec. 9 at 10 a.m., with various pre-sales beginning Dec. 6 at 10 a.m. Visit metlifestadium.com.
Tickets are $49.50 to $179.50, with $1 of each ticket purchase going to the educational organization, pencilsofpromise.org.
Bieber has currently scheduled only 5 other North American stadium shows: The Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, Calif., Aug. 5; The Sports Authority Field at Mile High in Denver, Aug. 12; U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Aug. 18; Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., Aug. 29; and the Rogers Centre in Toronto, Sept. 5.
