Lady Gaga sings with Mick Jagger at the Prudential Center in Newark on Dec. 15, 2012.

The Rolling Stones’ 2012-13 tour, titled “50 and Counting” in honor of the band’s 50 years together, was a star-filled trek, with an assortment of guests, ranging from Katy Perry to original Stones bassist Bill Wyman, showing up to cameo. Usually there were just one or two guests a night, but the starriest evening of them all was Dec. 15, 2012 at the Prudential Center in Newark, where, with pay-per-view cameras rolling, the band jammed with Bruce Springsteen, John Mayer, Gary Clark Jr., the Black Keys and Lady Gaga (plus former Stones guitarist Mick Taylor, who appeared as a guest throughout the entire tour).

Lady Gaga’s song choice was a bit obvious — “Gimme Shelter,” handling the explosive part sung by Merry Clayton on the original recording — but still, it was a great moment, with she and Mick echoing each other’s dance and vocal moves (and Gaga earning extra credit just for maneuvering around the stage in gigantic high heels.)
