Graham Nash, who recently performed at the Wellmont Theater in Montclair, has booked a Sept. 22 show in the At the Tabernacle series in at the Mount Tabor Tabernacle in Parsippany. This is one of New Jersey’s most remarkable concert venues — a wooden, octagonal building with great acoustics, built in 1885 for use in Methodist camp meetings.
Billed as “An Intimate Evening of Songs and Stories,” the show will feature the two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Famer (inducted as a member of Crosby, Stills & Nash, and The Hollies) and guitarist Shane Fontayne.
“That’s all I need right now; he’s a brilliant musician,” Nash told me of Fontayne, in an interview for The Bergen Record. “This guy saw the Hollies when he was 10 years old, at the Finsbury Park Empire [a London theater], and he wanted to become a musician. So, in a way, he goes back a long way with me, though I have only known him for 10 years.”
Tickets are $110. There are also several types of special tickets.

Nash will also perform at the Ocean City Music Pier, July 24; and the Pollak Theatre at Monmouth University in West Long Branch, Sept. 23.
