Wes Orshoski, a photographer who frequently contributes to NJArts.net, attended the “Springsteen on Broadway” show, March 15, buying a ticket like any other fan would. Like all those who attended, he was instructed not to take photos during the performance, but was allowed to do so as Bruce Springsteen and Patti Scialfa took their bows, at the end of the evening. He took some photos outside the theater, as well.
The black-and-white photos he took are so good, I felt, that I asked permission from him to share them on NJArts.net. And he graciously agreed. So I put five of them together in a photo gallery, below. (Plus that’s my favorite one, of Springsteen and a beaming Patti Scialfa, to the right.)
“Springsteen on Broadway” continues to run at the Walter Kerr Theatre, five nights a week, through June 30. All of the shows are sold out.

I wish Bruce would take this show on the road, I’m not able to make it to New York, but if it came to Pittsburgh, I’d be so there
WOW! Just amazing! Kudos to Wes and a heart full of thanks to Jay for sharing!
I wish I could get the opportunity to see Bruce on Broadway without having to sell my kidney or something.
