The new Fleetwood Mac — with guitarist Mike Campbell (of Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers) and singer-guitarist Neil Finn (of Split Enz and Crowded House) replacing Lindsey Buckingham — has announced a 2018/2019 tour that will include shows at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, March 9, and the Prudential Center in Newark, March 13.
Stevie Nicks, Christine McVie, Mick Fleetwood and John McVie will remain in the group for the tour, which will also include shows at Madison Square Garden, March 11, the XL Center in Hartford, March 15, and the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, April 5.
Tickets for most tour stops will go on sale May 4 at 10 a.m., though the Prudential Center and Garden shows will go on sale May 5 at 10 a.m. There will also be pre-sales, beginning April 30. For information, fleetwoodmac.com.
In a press release, the group said collectively: “With Mike and Neil, we’ll be performing all the hits that the fans love, plus we’ll be surprising our audiences with some tracks from our historic catalogue of songs. Fleetwood Mac has always been a creative evolution. We look forward to honoring that spirit on this upcoming tour.”
The tour is currently scheduled to begin in October, in Oklahoma, and end with the April 5 Philadelphia show.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Fleetwood Mac’s self-titled debut album, though only Mick Fleetwood and John McVie remain from the original lineup.
