Joan Jett, Darlene Love will headline next shows in Little Steven’s Underground Garage series

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts will headline the next Underground Garage show at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, Oct. 27.

Joan Jett & the Blackhearts (who just co-headlined at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, last night) and Darlene Love have been announced as the main attractions in Little Steven Van Zandt’s next two Underground Garage at the Basie shows at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank.

Jett will perform on Oct. 27. And Love (whose 2015 comeback album Introducing Darlene Love was produced by Van Zandt) will bring her annual “Souled Out Christmas” show to the Basie on Dec. 20, with Pat Guadagno opening with an acoustic set.

Van Zandt will host both shows.

Tickets for both shows go on sale July 20 at noon. Prices are $39 to $99 for Jett, $39 to $129 for Love. Visit TheBasie.org.

Jett will also perform at the Union County Performing Arts Center in Rahway, Oct. 26, with tickets going on sale July 20. Visit ucpac.org/events.
