Riders’ legs will dangle as they hurtle through the air on Six Flags Great Adventure’s new pendulum ride, which will debut next year.

Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson will debut what it is billing as “the world’s tallest pendulum ride,” titled Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth, in late spring 2019.

Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth will stand 17 stories tall.

Lasso of Truth will join other DC Comics-branded attractions at the theme park such as Batman: The Ride, Cyborg Cyber Spin, Justice League: Battle for Metropolis and The Dark Knight Coaster.

According to a press release, the new ride will stand 17 stories tall. It will be able to accommodate 40 riders at a time, whose feet will dangle as they reach speeds of more than 70 miles an hour.

The area will be decorated with a Wonder Woman statue and a large reproduction of the double-W Wonder Woman logo.

The 2017 “Wonder Woman” movie, starring Gal Gadot, grossed more than $800 million, worldwide. A sequel, “Wonder Woman 1984,” is planned for a November 2019 release, with Gadot, co-star Chris Pine and director Patty Jenkins returning, and Kristen Wiig playing the villain, Cheetah.
