The next — and final — show in the HOPE Concert series will take place at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, Dec. 23.
As is customary for this series, the lineup is being billed as Bobby Bandiera & Friends, and the Friends are all still to be announced. Proceeds will go to the Parker Family Health Center in Red Bank and POAC Autism Services in Brick Township.
Tickets, priced between $50 and $500, go on sale this Oct. 19 at noon, with a pre-sale for Count Basie members beginning Oct. 17. Visit ticketmaster.com or theBASIE.org.
“This is our tenth HOPE concert, and I’ve been proud to gather my friends at the Basie to help out for so many great causes in our community,” said HOPE founder Bandiera, in a press release. “For this final HOPE concert, POAC Autism Services and the Parker Family Health CENTER will be our beneficiaries, and I couldn’t think of two better organizations to represent all that these concerts have stood for.”
The series, which began in 2003, has raised millions of dollars for various charities. past participants have included Bruce Springsteen, Southside Johnny, Jon Bon Jovi, Max Weinberg, Deborah Harry, Gary U.S. Bonds, Brian Fallon, John Cafferty, Nicole Atkins, Glen Burtnik and Richie “LaBamba” Rosenberg.
