The Rolling Stones will bring their No Filter tour — which had European legs in 2017 and 2018 — to the United States in 2019, with 13 stadium shows just announced.
Northeast stops will include MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, June 13, as well as Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, June 4, and Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Mass., June 8.
There is a four-day gap in the tour itinerary before the New Jersey show, and seven days after it, so it seems very possible that one Garden State show, or more, may be added.
(Update: A second show has been added, June 17.)
At the time of the June 13 show, the ages of band members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts and Ron Wood will range from 72 to 78. There is no indication, though, that they see this tour as a farewell.
Tickets go on sale Nov. 30 at 10 a.m. via Ticketmaster, with pre-sales starting Nov. 28 at 10 a.m.
The Stones have previously performed in New Jersey 24 times, from 1965 to 2012. Here is a complete list of their New Jersey concerts.
