Bruce Springsteen performed at this year’s gala benefit for the Kristen Ann Carr Fund.

Bruce Springsteen jammed with Danny Clinch’s Tangiers Blues Band April 13 at the Tribeca Grill in New York, at a gala benefit for the Kristen Ann Carr Fund titled “A Night to Remember.” Check out videos of him performing bar-band standards “Rockin’ Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu” and “Down the Road a Piece,” below.

The Kristen Ann Carr Fund honors the Springsteen’s co-manager Barbara Carr’s late daughter (who died of sarcoma in 1993) by raising money for sarcoma research and the support of families whose lives have been affected by the disease. The gala, which includes dinner, cocktails and an auction, is an annual event, and this year, honored Clinch, a photographer, musician and entrepreneur who owns the Danny Clinch Transparent Gallery in Asbury Park and produces that city’s Sea.Hear.Now festival.

Springsteen has performed at this benefit before, most recently in 2015.
This was his first public performance of 2019.
