Elvis Presley’s wife Priscilla Presley and three members of his TCB Band (guitarist James Burton, keyboardist Glen D. Hardin and drummer Ron Tutt) will be featured on the Elvis: Seen/Unseen Tour, which will come to Wellmont Theater in Montclair, Oct. 30 and the Music Box at Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa in Atlantic City, Nov. 2.
Priscilla Presley — who was married to The King from 1967 to 1973 — and The King’s associate Jerry Schilling will tell stories and share personal photos and home movies, and Burton, Hardin, Tutt and other musicians will play live music as Elvis is seen and heard on vintage concert footage. The “Unseen” in the tour title refers to the fact that some of the footage has not been shown in public before.
Montclair tickets go on sale Aug. 9 at 10 a.m., with pre-sales starting Aug. 6 at 10 a.m.; visit livenation.com. Atlantic City tickets go on sale Aug. 9 at 10 a.m.; visit theborgata.com.
Only one other date for the tour — Nov. 1 at the Theatre at Westbury in Westbury, N.Y. — has been announced.
The TCB Band (the initials stand for Taking Care of Business) backed Presley for the last eight years of his life, 1969-1977.
