JANE FONDA

The Mayo Performing Arts Center in Morristown will present “An Evening With Jane Fonda,” subtitled “A Celebration of a Storied Career,” Dec. 8.

According to the theater’s web site, the event will be “a career retrospective live on stage. Clips from her storied career will be shared, along with stories and an audience Q&A.”

As the web site points out, Fonda “has influenced society in many ways. Off screen, she is an impassioned activist supporting a number of causes to which she is deeply committed. Her aerobic-exercise videos in the 1980s helped shape the fitness craze in the U.S. that is still going strong.”

The 81-year-old two-time Oscar winner (for “Klute” and “Coming Home”) currently co-stars with Lily Tomlin in the Netflix series “Grace and Frankie.”

Pre-sales start Oct. 16 at 10 a.m., with the general on-sale Oct. 18 at 10 a.m. Tickets range from $49 to $250, with the highest priced tickets including a photo op with Fonda.
