Kiss, which began its End of the Road farewell tour in January and performed at the Prudential Center in Newark this August, have added another New Jersey show. It will take place on Aug. 29 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, and tickets will go on sale Nov. 22 at 10 a.m., with pre-sales starting Nov. 19 at 10 a.m.
(Aug. 13 update: This show has been moved to Aug. 21, 2021, with a change of venues as well. It will now be at the Hard Rock Live at Etess Arena at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. Visit ticketmaster.com.)
The band has also announced that End of the Road will close with a July 21, 2021 concert in New York, at a location to be named later.
Kiss presented its first farewell tour in 2000 and 2001. Co-founders Gene Simmons (bass, vocals) and Paul Stanley (guitar, vocals) — who are currently 70 and 67, respectively — are joined in the current lineup by guitarist Tommy Thayer, 59, and drummer Eric Singer, 61.
The tour is currently on hiatus but will resume in December, with an Asian leg, and continue with shows in the United States, in February and March; in South America, in April and May; in Europe and South Africa, in June and July; and in the United States from August to October.
