Alanis Morissette will celebrate the 25th anniversary of her breakthrough album, Jagged Little Pill, with a 2020 tour that comes to the BB&T Pavilion in Camden, June 28, and the PNC Bank Arts Center, Holmdel, July 1. Garbage and Liz Phair will open both shows.
Tickets will go on sale Dec. 13 at 11 a.m, with pre-sales beginning Dec. 10 at 11 a.m. You can get the presale code by signing up for Morissette’s mailing list at alanis.com/events.
The tour will also come to the Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, N.Y., June 26.
More immediately, Morissette will present an acoustic show, followed by a Q&A session with journalist and SiriusXM Pandora “Debatable” (channel 106) co-host Alan Light, at the Apollo Theatre in New York, tonight (Dec. 2) at 8 p.m.
A musical based on Jagged Little Pill is currently in previews at Broadway’s Broadhurst Theatre, and will officially open on Dec. 5. For information, visit jaggedlittlepill.com.
Featuring songs such as “You Oughta Know,” “Hand in My Pocket,” “Ironic,” “You Learn,” “Head Over Feet” and “All I Really Want,” Jagged Little Pill was the best-selling album of the 1090s, and won the Album of the Year Grammy, among other awards.
