The New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, currently closed because of the pandemic, will try something different with an interactive, ticketed Zoom event, “Remote Control: A Mind Reading Experiment,” featuring mentalist Max Major.
There will be shows June 26-28 at 7 p.m., and tickets, priced at $45 per screen, go on sale June 12 at noon. A maximum of 50 tickets will be sold for each show. Visit NJPAC.org.
Those who buy tickets will receive a package in the mail, with instructions not to open it until the show begins. According to a press release: “Once opened, its contents help unleash the real-life Jedi-mind tricks that fuel the evening.”
This is an all-ages show, recommended for ages 10 and older.
