Asbury Park’s rock clubs may be closed, but there will be free, outdoor music every Monday in Springwood Park this summer.
Shows in the Asbury Park Music Foundation’s annual series will begin with opening acts TBA at 6 p.m., followed by the headliners at 7 p.m. Blankets or lawn chairs are recommended. Each show will take place in conjunction with a farmer’s market, and the nearby Kula Cafe will have food to go and outdoor cafe seating.

July 20: Al Covington and Nu’Eara
July 27: The Weeklings, co-headlining with J.T. Bowen & The Mighty Kings of Soul
Aug. 3: Funktion
Aug. 10: Layonne Holmes & The Motor City Revue
Aug. 17: Louis Prima Jr. & The Witnesses
Aug. 25 (Tuesday show): Sensational Soul Cruisers
