“What’s Up on E Street?,” an online series presented by the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music at Monmouth University, will continue with a new video featuring bassist (and original E Street Band member) Garry Tallent. It debuts July 28 at 10 a.m.

The first three episodes featured Nils Lofgren, Max Weinberg and Roy Bittan and can be seen at monmouth.edu or the Archive’s Facebook page. I also have embedded them below, and will continue to embed the new ones in this post, as they are made.

Bob Santelli, a New Jersey native and Monmouth University alumnus who is the founding executive director of the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, is conducting the interviews in the series, which deal largely with how the musicians are dealing with the pandemic.

Here are the interviews:

NILS LOFGREN

ROY BITTAN

MAX WEINBERG

GARRY TALLENT

STEVEN VAN ZANDT

THOM ZIMNY

JON LANDAU

LISA LOWELL, PART 1

Another Springsteen Archives series, “Soundstage,” debuted on July 2 with an interview with original E Street Band keyboardist David Sancious (also conducted by Santelli), with later episodes devoted to Nils Lofgren, The Delevantes (featuring Garry Tallent) and Tom Morello. Here are those videos:

DAVID SANCIOUS

NILS LOFGREN’S NEW ALBUM, WEATHERED

THE DELEVANTES (FEATURING GARRY TALLENT)

TOM MORELLO

ARLO GUTHRIE

KEN EHRLICH

STEVEN VAN ZANDT

Also, though it is not officially part of either series, here is the Archives’ interview with Nora Guthrie — daughter of Woody, sister of Arlo and the president of the Woody Guthrie Foundation.
