According to the New York Times’ Arts Beat blog, a musical version of Chazz Palminteri’s “A Bronx Tale,” co-directed by Robert De Niro, will be among the shows in the 2015-16 season of the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn.
De Niro directed and co-starred with Palminteri in the 1993 movie version.
The musical is scheduled to run from Feb. 4 to March 6, according to the Times, which also revealed the rest of the season:
• “Bandstand,” a new musical about World War II veterans, October and November.
• The musical “A Christmas Story,” November and December.
• “Pump Boys and Dinettes,” April and May 2016.
• “West Side Story,” June and July 2016.
