This year’s free “Summer Concert Series” at Dykstra Park in Sparta begins Aug. 8 with blues and jazz guitarist King Solomon Hicks. The Saturday show will be followed by five Friday shows through Sept. 11.
All shows will begin at 7 p.m. Six feet between groups of attendees is required, and masks must be worn at times when you are not six feet from others. According to a message on spartaarts.org, “Failure to comply may place future concerts in jeopardy … Let’s all be mindful about our behaviors so we may enjoy all 6 shows.”
