The Vogel at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank will present a socially distanced John Prine tribute concert, March 26 at 7:30 p.m. It will be titled “Souvenirs: The Music of John Prine” and, according to the venue’s website, will feature “the music of John Prine and his 14th studio album, Souvenirs.”
Performers will include Arlan Feiles, Aztec Two-Step 2.0 (Rex Fowler and Dodie Pettit), Jackson Pines and Pat Guadagno.
Prine, who died in April at the age of 73, released Souvenirs in 2000. It included new versions of some of his best known songs, including “Angel From Montgomery,” “Hello in There,” “Sam Stone,” “Please Don’t Bury Me” and “Fish and Whistle.”
Tickets go on sale Jan. 15 at 10 a.m., with a pre-sale beginning Jan. 12 at 10 a.m. Visit ticketmaster.com.
