“My Hometown” will be the theme of Bruce Springsteen’s 26th DJ show on SiriusXM satellite radio, debuting Aug. 18 at 10 a.m. on the network’s E Street Radio channel (channel 20), it was announced by DJ Jim Rotolo on the channel today. Rotolo also said the show will include songs by Neko Case, Bob Seger, John Mellencamp, Bob Dylan and others.
(Aug. 17 Update: A post on the SiriusXM blog adds The Pogues, Eric Church, Dierks Bentley and Springsteen himself to the list, and says that on the show, Springsteen “honors the hometowns of some of the world’s biggest musicians.”)

The shows have lasted from about 45 minutes to about two hours each, with repeats and on-demand availability following the initial broadcasts. “My Hometown” will repeat Aug. 18 at 6 p.m., Aug. 19 at noon, Aug. 20 at 6 a.m. and 4 p.m., Aug. 21 at 2 p.m., Aug. 22 at 10 p.m., and Aug. 23 at 7 a.m. and midnight.
