Bruce Springsteen — who will release, in November, a film of his two appearances at the “No Nukes” concerts at Madison Square Garden — is offering a preview via a clip of him and the E Street Band performing a high-energy, extended version of their party song, “Sherry Darling.”
You can watch it below.
The complete film will be released on Nov. 16 (digital) and Nov. 19 (DVD, Blu-Ray). It features 10 previously unreleased performances and 13 performances overall, drawn from the two “No Nukes” shows Springsteen and the band appeared at, Sept. 21-22, 1979.
The music will be released in CD form as well.
“Sherry Darling,” of course, was not released on an album until 1980’s The River, but Springsteen had begun performing it in concert in August 1978.
