The Light of Day WinterFest concert at the Outpost in the Burbs in Montclair that was originally scheduled for today, but was postponed because of the pandemic, has been rescheduled for March 4.
The lineup will include Weeklings members Glen Burtnik and Bob Burger, James Maddock, Guy Davis (nominated for a 2022 Grammy for his Be Ready When I Call You album), Blue Americana (Glenn Alexander and Oria Aspen) and host Joe D’Urso, with an additional artist to be announced later.
Tickets to the original show will be honored.
The main Light of Day WinterFest concert, originally scheduled for Jan. 14 at the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, will now take place on March 12. New dates for other postponed shows, most of which will take place in Asbury Park, have not been announced yet. For information and updates, visit lightofday.org.
Proceeds from Light of Day concerts raise money and awareness for the battle against Parkinson’s disease and related illnesses ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and PSP (progressive supranuclear palsy). Since its creation in 2000, Light of Day has raised close to $6 million.
The Outpost also has announced that its Feb. 12 show by Jonathan Richman has been cancelled. Tickets bought via TicketLeap will be automatically refunded. For refunds to tickets bought at Watchung Booksellers, email info@outpostintheburbs.org.
