The 19 shows of Willie Nelson’s touring Outlaw Music Festival, this summer and early fall, will include one at the Waterfront Music Pavilion (formerly the BB&T Pavilion) in Camden, Sept. 23. The show will start at 4:30 p.m. and also feature Chris Stapleton, Zach Bryan, Larkin Poe and Brittney Spencer.
Tickets go on sale March 25 at 10 a.m., with pre-sales starting March 22 at 10 a.m. Visit ticketmaster.com.
The tour starts June 24 in St. Louis. Artists performing on at least one show of the tour include Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Jason Isbell & the 400 Unit, ZZ Top, Gov’t Mule, Steve Earle & The Dukes and The War and Treaty.
Nelson will turn 89 on April 29, and is planning to release a new studio album, A Beautiful Time, on that day. The album includes five songs co-written with Buddy Cannon plus covers of songs including The Beatles’ “With a Little Help From My Friends” and Leonard Cohen’s “Tower of Song.”
Nelson has been presenting Outlaw Music Festival shows annually since 2016, with the exception of 2020, which he had to skip because of the pandemic.
