Andrea Bocelli, who sold out concerts at the Prudential Center in 2010 and 2013, will return to the Newark arena on Dec. 18 as part of a six-date U.S. tour that will also include a Dec. 15 date at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Tickets for Newark will go on sale March 21 at 10 a.m., via ticketmaster.com and prucenter.com, with a pre-sale for Citi cardmenbers, March 15 at 10 a.m. (visit citiprivatepass.com).

The Italian tenor’s latest album Cinema, released in October, includes songs made famous by movies and plays, including “Maria” (from “West Side Story”), “Moon River” (from “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”) and “The Music of the Night” (from “The Phantom of the Opera”).

The Prudential Center’s web site lists Eugene Kohn as the conductor of that concert, soprano Ana Maria Martinez as a featured performer, and “American Idol” alumna Katharine McPhee as “guest artist.” (Bocelli and McPhee have sung together several times in the past.)

The Garden’s web site, however, lists only Kohn and Martinez for that venue’s date.
