The Bamboozle Festival, which will return next year after an absence of more than a decade, has announced 25 of its 2023 acts, including an extremely diverse foursome at the top of the list: Rick Ross, Steve Aoki, Limp Bizkit and Yung Gravy.
The festival takes place May 5-7 at Bader Field in Atlantic City.
More major names may be coming. But as it stands right now, the upstart Adjacent Festival — which takes place later in the same month, on the Atlantic City beach — looks poised to outdraw Bamboozle substantially.
Joining Limp Bizkit, Ross and Aoki at Bamboozle will be Puddles Pity Party, Boys Like Girls, Mayday Parade, Say Anything, We the Kings, The Spill Canvas, E-Town Concrete and others.
Blink-182, Paramore, Bleachers, Turnstile, Japanese Breakfast, Coheed and Cambria, Jimmy Eat World and The Front Bottoms are already booked for Adjacent.
Again, it’s too early to judge.
A Bamboozle pre-sale starts Nov. 25 at noon. Visit bamboozlefestival.com.
2023 will mark the 20th anniversary of the festival, which originated in Asbury Park and also has been presented at the Meadowlands, and in California and Chicago, and on several national tours. Acts that have performed at Bamboozle shows over the years have included My Chemical Romance, Muse, Linkin Park, Bruno Mars, Drake, Foo Fighters, Mötley Crüe, Bon Jovi, Fall Out Boy, Machine Gun Kelly and No Doubt.
Bamboozle has been dormant since 2012.
