BILL T. JONES
Tony-winning choreographer Bill T. Jones will give a free talk at New Jersey City University, Nov. 15. According to a press release, it will be devoted to “unpacking of the processes of art-making, along with the dilemmas of self and identity as seen from the point of view of an artist who constantly asks the question: ‘Am I in this game and how do I stay in this game? The game in question is that of a life lived in the arts.’ ”
The 7 p.m. talk will take place in the Skyline Room of the NJCU School of Business at 200 Hudson St., Harborside Plaza 2.
This is first program in NJCU’s 2016-2017 Presidential Lecture Series, which is presented by NJCU’s Center for the Arts. Future speakers have not been announced yet.

The 64-year-old Jones, who co-founded the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, won Tonys for his choreography on “Spring Awakening” and “Fela!,” and has also received Kennedy Center Honors and a MacArthur Foundation “Genius Grant.”
