Blake Shelton — one of the leading country stars of the last 20 years as well as the only person to serve as a coach on the television singing competition “The Voice” in every season since its inception in 2011 — is the first confirmed co-headliner of the 2023 Barefoot Country Music Fest, which will take place June 15-18 on the beach in Wildwood.
Four-day passes are currently on sale. Visit barefootcountrymusicfest.com.
After being postponed from 2020 because of the pandemic, the first Barefoot fest took place in August 2021, with Carrie Underwood, Dan + Shay, the Zac Brown Band and Lee Brice as co-headliners.
This year’s festival took place in June with Eric Church, Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Cole Swindell among the attractions.
Another major New Jersey country music festival, the TidalWave Music Festival, takes place this weekend (Aug. 12-14) on the Atlantic City beach, with Morgan Wallen, Luke Bryan, Dierks Bentley and others.
