Bobby Bandiera’s Jersey Shore Rock n Soul Revue usually plays music of other artists, ranging from Roy Orbison to The Bee Gees. And at their May 2 show at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank, they will do so again. But with a twist.
The show, titled “Bandiera: Autobiography,” will feature songs by artists singer-guitarist Bandiera has played with over the years, including Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Patti Scialfia, Gary U.S. Bonds, Graham Parker, Dave Edmunds and Darlene Love.
Tickets, priced from $25 to $99, go on sale March 6 at noon. The highest-priced tickets include a “post-show meet & mingle.” Call (732) 842-9000 or visit countbasietheatre.org.
In the more immediate future, Bandiera has a show of his own tonight at Tim McLoone’s Supper Club in Asbury Park.
