The Sea.Hear.Now festival takes place Sept. 17-18 in Asbury Park.

Boy George and Wet Leg have been added to the lineup of this year’s Sea.Hear.Now festival in Asbury Park.

Boy George, best known for ’80s hits such as “Karma Chameleon” and “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me,” will perform with his band Culture Club on Sept. 17. Wet Leg, the ingenious British indie-rock band that released its self-titled debut album this year, will perform on Sept. 18.

As previously announced, Green Day and Stevie Nicks will co-headline. Set times are not yet available.

Nicks will perform on Sept. 17 with My Morning Jacket, Billy Strings, Gary Clark Jr., Fletcher, The Backseat Lovers, Peach Pit, Skip Marley, Celisse, Aly & AJ, The Surfrajettes, Dogs in a Pile, Dentist and others.

Green Day will perform on Sept. 18, along with Cage the Elephant, The Head and the Heart, Idles, Courtney Barnett, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Tai Verdes, Shakey Graves, Lost in Society, The Vansaders and others.

The festival will also feature a surf contest, and art displays featuring works by participating musicians at Danny Clinch’s Transparent Gallery. The gallery will also host impromptu performances and talks by the musicians, with proceeds benefiting the Wooden Walls Project, which brings public art to Asbury Park.

This will be the fourth Sea.Hear.Now festival. Past co-headliners have included Incubus and Jack Johnson (2018); The Dave Matthews Band and The Lumineers (2019); and Pearl Jam and Smashing Pumpkins (2021). Bruce Springsteen made an unbilled appearance in 2018, during Social Distortion’s set.
