U2 performed the last of its eight shows this month at Madison Square Garden in New York. And Bruce Springsteen, rumored to be a guest performer at many of them, finally showed up, performing “I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For” and the uplifting pop standard “Stand by Me” with the band.

I was not there myself, alas, though I did catch some of it via Periscope. Here are some of the reactions and other show-related messages that were posted on Twitter.
