Bruce Springsteen had a nice treat for his fans as he re-started his tour with The E Street Band, Halloween night at Centre Bell in Montreal: His first-ever cover of “Ghostbusters,” the 1984 hit by Ray Parker Jr. You can watch a partial video of the performance, below. I will substitute a full video if and when it becomes available.
A bit of trivia: When “Ghostbusters” hit No. 1 on Billboard magazine’s singles chart, in August 1984, Springsteen’s “Dancing in the Dark” was also in the Top 10, at No. 7.
I will keep a setlist of the Montreal show here, updating it (using setlist.fm as the source) as songs are played.
