Bruce Springsteen to re-release ‘The Rising’ and four more albums on vinyl

Bruce Springsteen has announced plans to re-release his landmark 2002 album The Rising and four more albums on vinyl, Feb. 21.

The others are 18 Tracks (1999), Live in New York City (2001), Devils & Dust (2005) and Live in Dublin (2007). All will be in double-album format except for Live in New York City, which will be a triple album.

Live in Dublin/em> is being released on vinyl for the first time ever.

According to a press release, each album “has been transferred from the original source masters, allowing for the highest quality pressings possible.”

Nine songs from The Rising and four from Devils & Dust were included on NJArts.net’s Top 70 of Springsteen’s best songs of the last 30 years., posted in honor of Springsteen’s 70th birthday in 2019.
