Cher will publish her “Cher: The Memoir, Part 1” — the first in a two-part series — on Nov. 19, and will talk about it at BergenPAC in Englewood, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. Tickets, which will include an unsigned copy of the book, are currently on sale; visit ticketmaster.com.
BergenPAC is advertising the event as “An Evening With Cher: The Memoir.”
According to publicity material, Cher’s book “follows her extraordinary beginnings through childhood to meeting and marrying Sonny Bono — and reveals the highly complicated relationship that made them world-famous, but eventually drove them apart.
“Cher: The Memoir reveals the daughter, the sister, the wife, the lover, the mother, and the superstar.
“It is a life too immense for only one book.”
Cher’s only other event currently scheduled in the Northeast will take place at The Temple Emanu-El Streicker Cultural Center in Manhattan, Nov. 20 at 8 p.m.; visit streicker.nyc/events/cher.
