Earth, Wind & Fire has postponed its Dec. 7-8 concerts at NJPAC in Newark to Feb. 1-2. Tickets for Dec. 7 will be honored on Feb. 1, and tickets for Dec. 8 will be honored on Feb. 2. Refunds will also be available at points of purchase through Dec. 21.
According to a message on NJPAC.org, “Out of an abundance of caution for health and safety, (the shows) are being postponed. The tour has strict COVID safety protocols and is closely following all CDC guidelines.”
No further explanation is available.
The band also posted on its Facebook page, today, that its Dec. 10 concert at the Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, Conn., is being moved to Feb. 4.
As announced previously, the band’s New Jersey shows with Santana — originally scheduled for the summer of 2020 but postponed because of the pandemic — will take place on Aug. 14, 2022 (at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel) and Aug. 18, 2022 (at the BB&T Pavilion in Camden.)
