As previously announced, one of the plays in the 2020-21 season at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn will be a “reimagined” version of Elton John and Tim Rice’s “Aida.” The other four won’t be announced until March 18. And, as usual, the theater running a contest to see who can guess them.
There are clues to the four in the images above. And NJArts.net will be giving away a pair of tickets to Paper Mill’s April 1-26, 2020 production of “Sister Act” to the reader who gets the most plays right.
The theater will be giving out tickets in other ways, too. But if you’d like to enter the NJArts.net contest, send an email to njartscontest@gmail.com by midnight March 17, with “Paper Mill” in the subject line. The person who gets the most correct, wins. If there is a tie, we will select one entry, randomly.
A word of advice: This is an exceedingly hard contest, especially since one or more of the productions may be world premieres. Even if you’re taking wild guesses, it’s worth entering, since it’s quite possible that no one will get anything right, in which case we will still pick one winner, randomly.
The season will run from the fall of 2020 to the late spring or early summer of 2021.
