Veteran DJ Bruce “Cousin Brucie” Morrow will present a free concert at the PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel, June 8 at 7:30 p.m., with Herman’s Hermits (starring Peter Noone), Tommy Roe, and The Soundtrack of Our Lives (featuring Deborah Rennard and Al Sapienza).
The show is free, although donations to the Garden State Arts Foundation will be welcomed. The foundation has been presenting free classical, jazz and pop shows such as this one at the PNC Bank Arts Center (originally known as the Garden State Arts Center) since 1999.

Hermit’s Hermits, fronted by Noone, had a bunch of big hits in the ’60s, including “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got a Lovely Daughter,” “I’m Henry VIII, I Am,” “I’m Into Something Good” and “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat.”
Roe had a number of big ’60s hits, too, including “Dizzy,” “Sheila” and “Everybody.”
The foundation will also present a free Senior Concert Series at the PNC Bank Arts Center featuring these shows:
May 9, 1:30 p.m.: Bobby Wilson’s tribute to his father, Jackie and the sounds of Motown; Tommy C’s tribute to Bobby Rydell; The Chiclettes.
May 17, 1:30 p.m.: The Lettermen; comedian John Pizzi
May 23, 1:30 p.m.: “The Sounds of the ’50s & ’60s” with Kid Kyle; The Skyliners; The Brooklyn Bridge; Vinnie Medugno (host).
For tickets to these three shows, follow the same procedure as above, except leave off the “ATT: Cousin Brucie.”
