This year’s Crawfish Fest — originally scheduled for May 2020 but postponed to August 2020, and then to May of this year — has been postponed again. New Jersey’s annual celebration of Louisiana music and food is now scheduled for Aug. 27-29 at its usual location, the Sussex County Fairgrounds in Augusta.

Though more acts are still to be announced, the current lineup includes Tab Benoit, Samantha Fish, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Bonerama, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, New Orleans Suspects, Honey Island Swamp Band, Jonathon Long, Elektric Voodoo, Erica Falls, Pine Leaf Boys, Ally Venable, Jeffery Broussard & The Creole Cowboys, Soul Project NOLA, Jesse Lége & Bayou Brew, Big Mamou and United by Music.

“Tickets already purchased will be changed to August 27-29, 2021 in the system. The barcode will remain the same. The website and online store will be updated in the next week or so when the last confirms are in,” said Crawfish Fest founder Michael Arnone in an email to patrons. “I would be extremely grateful if you can retain your ticket for August, 2021. I am struggling like everyone else in the music business. I know a lot of you are too, as I saw over a million people lost jobs in NJ.

“With your support, we will make it thru the pandemic to the other side.”
